Buster Quests are a very important part of Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta Episode 5, together with lots of the story's battle quests using their mechanisms. These new quests are also accessible at the pursuit counter and can be done with the eight-player multiparty. They are similar to this Apprentice Urgent Quest, where gamers need to work together to protect towers out of oncoming enemies. However, there are lots of new mechanics which make this fresh with how it is more siege-like. After shielding the towers, weapons have been deployed and have to be shielded to breach the castle in the opposite end of the field. The cover for multi-party places continues to be lowered to eight from twelve at the current PSO2, but that you see will differ from area to area.
Weather is making a better comeback as it changes dynamically and may impact the battlefield, even though the size of the effect wasn't spoken of. Time may also change, and footage showed several nice touches such as fireflies in the forests at night. There's no word on quick travel, mounts or vehicles yet, but Sega has implemented several new ways for players to move fast across this large new world.
